Joining Cloudflare as Chief Engineering Officer feels like coming full circle. I’ve been a Cloudflare customer since its early days, building on its CDN, Workers, TLS, and global network to scale products at multiple companies. Now, as the industry moves through its next major transition with AI, I get to help build the infrastructure that will power the next generation of inference, platforms, applications, and experiences.

I’ve worked across nearly every layer of the technology stack, from building public and private IP networks early in my career, to helping create one of the earliest CDNs, to leading engineering organizations at ServiceNow, Slack, Shopify, and Webflow. I’ve always been drawn to the systems that power how people connect, build, and innovate.

What excites me most is the intersection of networking, systems, security, developer platforms, AI, and the modern web, and the challenge of building infrastructure that stays fast and reliable at massive scale. I care about clear technical strategy, pragmatic decisions, strong engineering culture, and mentoring the next generation of engineers and leaders.
